Who We Are

SheShed Ministries is a Christian nonprofit discipleship community committed to teaching the Word of God clearly and helping women become healed, whole, and equipped to serve.

We are a global Bible-based community built on a simple belief: When women shed what keeps them bound, they can build God’s Kingdom on purpose.

Everything we create, from teachings and study tools to discipleship pathways and meaningful connection, is designed to help women grow spiritually, strengthen their walk with God, and live with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Our Story

In February 2022, what started as a small online gathering of women meeting weekly to study the Word of God grew into something unexpectedly powerful. Women showed up hungry for clarity in Scripture, and they found more than teaching. They found understanding. Healing began. Community formed. Lives were changed.

What made "The Kingdom Building SheShed" different was not the platform, but the posture. The Word of God was taught clearly, practically, and with intention. Women were invited not just to learn, but to shed what had been holding them back and live out their faith with purpose.

As seasons shifted and leadership assignments changed, the live gatherings paused. But the impact did not. The hunger for discipleship, community, and truth only grew stronger. God preserved the vision and, in time, expanded it.

Today, we are SheShed Ministries and we exist as a global Christian discipleship community committed to helping women grow spiritually, become healed and whole in Christ, and disciple others. What began as weekly teachings has grown into a movement marked by teaching, tools, and connection designed to support transformation beyond a moment.

The heart of SheShed remains the same.
But the assignment is bigger.
And the story God is writing is still unfolding.

Meet Dr. Angela “Dr. A” Thomas

Founder & Visionary

Dr. Angela D. Thomas, affectionately known as Dr. A, is the founder of SheShed Ministries. She is a pastor, teacher, author, and mentor with a passion for helping women understand the Word of God clearly and live it faithfully.

Her life reflects the transforming power of God’s grace. From humble beginnings to leadership in both ministry and the marketplace, Dr. A’s journey is marked by obedience, growth, and a deep love for God’s people.

Through her teaching, Dr. A is committed to discipling women, equipping leaders, and helping believers shed what keeps them bound so they can walk in freedom and purpose in Christ.

SheShed Ministries exists beyond any one voice, and through partnerships with Dr. A’s teaching, writing, and resources, the ministry continues to serve women with biblical truth, clarity, and love.
